Queen Bailey Nachtigal

My name is Bailey Nachtigal and I am proud to hold the title of your 2011 E.W.J.R.A. Queen! I am currently a Freshman at Davenport High School in Davenport, WA. I live on a 300 acre horse ranch with my parents, little sister, and multiple four legged friends! When I’m not rodeoing I enjoy showing steers in FFA, playing basketball, and raising Piedmontese cattle. Rodeo has always been a huge part of my life and I hope that never changes. Although I primarily barrel race, the exciting event of cow riding is quickly becoming my second favorite! I also compete in Steer Daubing, Poles, Goat Tying and Breakaway Roping. I look forward to representing one of the best Junior Rodeo Associations in the State of Washington. It will be a fun year with Princess Megan & Princess Courtney. I plan on traveling throughout the Northwest promoting our club and sparking new interest in the amazing sport of rodeo!  See you on the rodeo trail!

Yours truly,

Queen Bailey

2011 Princesses

Princess Megan Axtman

Hello there,
I'm Megan Axtman your 2011 EWJRA First Princess. I am 18 years old and I call Othello, Washington my hometown. I attend Othello High School as a junior. I will be riding a quarter horse by the name of Shiner who I have been working with for 2 years now.
I have been riding horses since age 3 and have been competing in junior rodeo since age 13. The events I participate in are barrel racing, pole bending, and goat tying. When I am not doing rodeo, I like to dance, listen to music, and work with my horses.
After high school I plan on competing for more rodeo queen titles and eventually try to become a Lady Wrangler. I plan on pursuing a career in Equine Therapy working with rodeo athletes, horses who have had accidents, and horses to work with kids with disabilities. I am so excited for this upcoming rodeo season and can't wait to represent the great sport of rodeo.
Good Luck to everyone!
1st Princess Megan :)
